Venice has a long history of serving as a meeting point for great artists—a tradition that continues today. Friends of Venice brings together artists from around the world to share their interests and talk about their work. Some have decided to make Venice their permanent home, while others simply pass through when they need to feel inspired by the city’s beauty. We work to create informal opportunities for people to meet, discuss art, and visit the region’s extensive exhibitions and galleries. For those who wish to improve their artistic skills, we facilitate workshops and discussions with professional painters. |
