Venice is not only the city itself but also the lagoon in which it is situated. Enjoy Venice by boat and visit some of the islands to gain a deeper understanding of the city's origins. Weather permitting, we will take you out for a picnic, or to visit a local agriturismo for fresh locally-produced food and wine and food.

Wine Tours

Friends of Venice organizes excursions to the wine-producing area between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene (about 70 km from Venice). The region is famous for its vineyards and wineries that make prosecco, the 'Italian champagne'. This is a wonderful chance to learn about wine and winemaking while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Veneto countryside.
